Teflon
happens to be a very difficult substance for extrusion due to its
very high melt viscosity. AFW has developed the technology of extruding
Teflon indigenously and launched the complete range of Extruded
Teflon Cables, in place of the existing taped and sintered Teflon
Cables

breakthrough in extrusion of Teflon resulted into AFW launching Electrical
Heat Tracing Systems, which are approved by all major authorities
including CCE-Nagpur and CMRI-Dhanbad. |

Radio Frequency Cables as per Uni-Radio, RG and Defence standards.
These are approved by the industry and important users, including
Defence Ministry.

today is one of the few companies in Cable Industry to have developed
an end-to-end software solution for design, parameter-simulation
& estimation of highly complex & customised cable requirements
as per consultant & other specifications which effectively overcomes
the complexities in this line due to inputs being gravimetric while
the outputs are volumetric. This gets further complicated due to
each customer/consultant having their own specifications with literally
hundreds of sizes/types of cables.
The
whole system is akeen to an Expert System which can intelligently
respond to customised cable specifications, which is further interfaced
to an ERP-like package.
This
offers not only high degree of accuracy and speed in responding
to complex requirements but also keeps the technical processing
of enquiries sterile from human interference/errors right through
the entire processing cycle from receipt of enquiry to order processing,
material planning, shop processing till the final despatch &
billing.
